Welcome to Alien Speed Parts. 

We have for sale our TDMI 6 pot with 286mm 1 piece rotor brake kit.

Lets face it the Gtir braking system from factory is really bad! Some spirited driving on the road or a few laps around the track will see the brakes fading or not working. Trust me we know! Solve this issue with this brake kit today! 

This brake kit allows for 15inch wheels to be used. That's right! 6 pot calipers with 15 inch wheels!! 

The kit includes:

  • Two Calipers 
  • Two Rotors
  • Two Braided Stainless Brake lines ready to bolt on
  • Two Pairs of brake pads
  • Two Stainless brake line bolts
  • Four Stainless Brake line washers
  • Four Brake pad pins
  • Four Brake pads insert pins
  • Two Brake pads stopping shims

Calipers

The Calipers are made of 6066 billet alloy and a T651 heat treatment process is applied which makes the alloy 30% stronger than standard 6061 billet alloy and less likely to deform when exposed to extreme hot temperatures.

The brake caliper piston material selects the 7075 billet alloy and the T651 heat treatment. 

The calipers are finished in a range of colours for you to select. 

Rotors

The brake rotors are made from a FC-25 steel mixture with high cast carbon content. The maximum temperature this mixture can handle is 1000 Celsius.  It provides higher level of stress and temperature without excessive material expansion or distortion. Most rotors are made of lower grade steel for instance FC-20 or FC-22. When tested heat can cause expansion by as much as 1.2-1.5mm when reaching to 500 Celsius in these normal rotors.  However, our rotors will only expand around 0.45 cm in comparison.

To keep it simple and easy to understand, we have narrowed down our brake pads in 3 specs which can suit wide range usage.

Street

Street/track hybrid 

Race / Pro for race application only. 

 

We run these on our own car, it transformed it on track and have not let us down. 

Please be aware this is one of the only products we currently do not stock on the shelve. Lead times are around 2-4 weeks from purchase being made. The manufacture ships to us as soon as you order.
